The Ghebremedhin/Wurota Family
My name is Hidat S Ghebremedhin, my husband’s name is Tesfaye Wurota. I was born in Eritrea in 1967. I worked with the American Embassy in my country about 6 years. I came to the United States in 2004 and I landed at the Dallas airport on 7/25/04. I lived in Virginia for one year and then I moved to Washington DC and lived there about three years. Then I moved to Indianapolis 10/24/08. Now I live on the Westside in an apartment with my husband and two boys, Masho and Yemane. Tesfaye was an Ethiopian refugee. Tesfaye and the two boys were in an Ethiopian refugee camp for three years before they flew to the United States. They landed in New York for eight hours, then flew to Chicago, then to Indianapolis. They have lived on the Westside of Indianapolis for about five years. |
